I recognize that car wash. Pulled in there to hose off the wrecked FJ62 that I had bought for the 3FE swap, had it on a U-Haul tow dolly (can't get away with that anymore) behind the FJ60. The FJ62 came from NW MS not too far from Memphis and I had towed it ca. 300 miles back to Auburn. While at the car wash I discovered the big nut for the tow ball was loose . Tightened the nut as best I could and hauled the 62 on to its final place of rest and dismantlement.

I'm surprised we've never met. Since we run in the same circles and all. :flipoff2:

Cattywampus ran like a top. It had stock gearing and could destroy 1FZE's on the highway. I spent sooo much time tuning that 3FE the only way the 3FE yahoo list could guide me, which was great! desmog'd, cable adjusted, perfection...
I don't regret getting rid of it, but I do miss Catty...

As I remember the first time we crossed paths was on the south side of Auburn and we pulled into one of the neighborhoods. I was in my well worn FJ40 and you in Cattywampus. As we stood around and talked Cruisers respectable folks of the neighborhood, in their nice, clean, late model cars, would drive by and give us looks of scorn :grinpimp:. The 3FE list was a superb source of info and the 3FE remains underrated.

good times!

Hate catty had to go, hell I even hated to see scallywag's mangled body sitting behind Franklin and it didn't have near the history as catty.

Hell I have no fears of my 3fe (except finding a gas station) after seeing you romping on catty at utbt.. And then drive home. Long live the 3fe.

I hate to see Heckle's truck go but we will be delivering it today to new owner.
