has anyone had major problems after wheeing there 62 in water?

I drove threw some icy water the other day and know I'm haing a crap load of problems. At first the engine just ran bad but now I can't get spark.

So have any of you had the same resault after driving in water or cleaning your engine compartment with a presherwasher.

What have you done to waterproof your rigs?

did you check to make sure that you don't have water in the plug holes? It is real easy to get water in there, and it will make it run like CRAP!

Make sure distributor is not wet. Aftermarket caps do not seal as well I don't think. Also, there is a breather hole on the dizzy itself. The distributor is the usual problem I think when it comes to water, there are a couple ways to seal it. Pressurizing it or coating it in dielectric grease?

How deep was the water? I had put my 60 almost to 34 inches of water, so far, no problems.

it wasn't that deep but it froze on there for about 2 days and when I presherwashed it off everything was wet under the hood. my dizzy was soked. I dried it off and still had problems it seemed like bad gas but when I checked the gas it was fine. so I moved to electical problem becaue my marker lights tried to come on when I started her. but now I can't even start her because there is no spark. and I've narrowed it down to ECU or Igniter.
