Not trolling - if you don't want to be bothered with tinkering with cars the Corolla cannot be beat.

Anyways, on our RX350 the water drains from the windshield down the cowl then to each side and exits down thorough the gaps where the side skirt panel/wheel liner clips to the body (right behind each front wheel). This area can get clogged up with dirt / debris over the years (don't ask me how i know). Take the clips off pull the panel down a bit and clear it out.

mine happens when I'm parked on an incline (nose up)

I think on level the car drain system works. But when parked inclined overnight I think the water flows in a way to overwhelm the drains and I get some in the passenger well
I believe I’m experiencing the same thing.

Park in garage, don’t drive them in the rain or snow.
The 200, once again asserting it's aristocratic nature on the driver-class. Making peace with the inverted ownership dialectic first feels like oppression, but eventually results in harmony.

your username not withstanding, you perfectly described the life of my USDM 200.

never seen rain or snow. pampered to starbucks and back.

overly unnecessarily maintained

Then why buy one of the best off road rigs ever made and add off road tires if it's never going off pavement or seeing any slightly adverse conditions?
1) because starbucks drive throughs have curves that sometimes need jumping

2) i wanted a car where i have to change head gaskets twice a year

3) i wanted a car that leaks

4) i wanted a highlander look alike

Maybe you should come to a meetup (fair weather providing, natch') and some of us pros will show you how to break your recric door, teach the heater T an important lesson with vice grips, top off the cooling water in the 4Lo/CDL actuator housing, and give those KDSS valves their annual ten-rotation workout.

sure thing

I do like Pros. They are the best. Sometimes my wife doesnt like how much I spend on Pros.

I tell her, if I wanted amateurs, I would be a Prado/4Runner owner.

LC owners - we deserve the best.

please confirm on your list, you know how to change HG - as that is a requirement of any LC feiendships

I found one small source of water leaking. Passenger side rear cover that exposes the jack, looks like the clips that hold the bumper in are allowing water. Crazy…. View attachment 3794036
Good find. IIRC those do have a small black foam gasket on them when new.

I added some weather stripping all around the windshield and cowl today in hopes it’ll solve the front leaking. I noticed that it was actually my driver side floor mat that’s wet and I’m convinced whomever replaced the windshield did a sloppy job because both driver and passenger side trim pieces have gaps and so does the cowl in misc places. This has to be my issue so by adding the weather stripping it sealed all the gaps so fingers crossed it works. It looks OEMish.

FYI when I got my rig it had round trim like that across the top of the windshield, and that shape caused a whistle at freeway speeds.

Also continue to monitor closely for water. The way the panel is installed, trim around the outside edge might not seal things.

The weather stripping totally fixed my issue and totally whistles at highway speeds if I open the windows. Thanks for your help!
