So the old "subscribed threads" are now called "watched threads".

That's reasonable enough (and it may even be more appropriate too). :)

But when I click on it, I'm told I'm looking at watched threads that contain new posts I haven't yet read (which is what I 'm after) - but that's not what I see. Instead I see 20 threads where I've read every last post in all of them.

Shouldn't a thread disappear from that list (so long as I have refreshed the page) as soon as I've viewed its lastest post?

BTW - Thanks for all the work ... Already I can see this new software is better!

EDIT:

see this tab I have circled?

I'm still confused..

No I don't see that tab (perhaps because I am up-to-date in reading all the threads I'm "watching")..

I'll show you my screen as I look at this very thread:

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
WatchedThreads.jpg

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

See ... There's no "unread watched threads tab" there.

But when I click on watched threads at the top of that screen, this is what ih8mud tells me:

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
ReadOrUnread.jpg

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Isn't it telling me that those 20 threads have posts that I haven't read? That's what "with unread replies" means isn't it?

But I can assure you I have read those threads.. Hell. Chappo's last post in his build thread was way back on the 14th... (but you may see the date as a day earlier because we're in different time zones).

EDit: I think I said in another post on this new site that the ads weren't bothering me.. But as you can see in the first pic... They can be prolific (and a pita) depending on the screen I'm in..

Tom.... Try clicking in the forum screen where it says something like mark all threads read

I had done this the first day... Maybe that's why mine is showing the way it is and yours is not?

Thanks Johnny..

That seems to have fixed it for me.

I guess when the threads were transferred across, the information was lost on who had read them and who hadn't?

:)
