The registration page for the car show is finally up and running. The local Jeep club is chomping at the bit to sign up. So there needs to be way more Cruisers to balance things out.

Is there any interest in doing a "Club Sponsor" registration? This would probably be a good topic for the meeting tomorrow.

"Club Sponsor: $475 to pre-register for 10 spaces, $385 for 8 spaces, $295 for 6 spaces: Your group will have a reserved location on Main Street (space will be released at no refund if group fails to check in by 9:30am), Car Club logo on Goody bag, flyers, posters, etc., Car Club Logo on GWCC website, recognition/link to website in ALL Monday Chamber e-blasts prior to the event, and hourly verbal recognition at the event and beverage tickets for the group (two per vehicle)"

There were 3 Cruisers last year and two won trophies. I don't recall the Heeps winning anything. I understand some of the judges have a bias towards Cruisers, maybe even hoopties.

I deeply regret not being able to defend my trophy this year. I will be in Cooperstown watching my nephew play in a little league tourney. I was even thinking of washing my forty this year and seeing if I could get a first place trophy.

Well, it sounds like at a minimum, we'll have a 40, 45, 55 and an 80(no pressure NoVaSteve). That seems like a pretty good showing to me.
