I have an 8274 winch that I bought used, it seems to be a cluster of parts for a number of winches, I noticed when I got it that it dragged when pulling but it works fine when spooling out, now there is no motion in at all or very little, so you suppose I just need brushes or should I just get another motor? The serial number is been rubbed off of the winch, it has a later housing, but a differen't relay set, Its getting voltage through the selanoids so I thnk their fine can I upgrade the motor to an 8274-50 motor with the same gears?
