warn winch cover rewire

I have a replacement cover for my warn winch but do not understand how to wire it into the new cover.
The wires come from behind the cover up into the round connector and then it appears something ( a sleeve?) captures them from the front.
Can anyone shed light on this?

Yes, but I don't understand how to release them from the round plastic part. The wire comes in from behind and is locked in from the front, just not familiar how these are locked into the round plastic part........

OK, I reached out to Warn and found out I need a pin tool like the one below.
