warn hubs on 45

started cleaning up and doing the brakes on 67 fj-45 and i pulled the hubs off the front just to clean and check things out my queston is should there be a snap ring on the end if the axle shaft like my 40 ??? thanks other than that things are coming along

Should be.

The front axle is the same as a 40.

The rear axle is a full floater 1-ton version.

A 1-ton floater even on the older models? I thought the 60's were semis and the 70/80s were FF.

since this is an early fj45 it should have the same rear axle as any 40 or 55 of that vintage, not a full floater.

the rear springs are different and the 45 should also have a sway bar on the rear axle.
