Warn 4-pin controller?

Anyone know where I can source an old style 4-pin controller for an 8274 ... or have one stashed away? Headed to the LSLC Roundup next week and could really use one, been watching the classifieds and eBay w/o any luck

I've got one that I don't need any more, I converted my 8274 to the newer 5-6 pin style so I could use the same controller and recovery bag for all my trucks. I'm registered for the Roundup but not sure at this point if I will make it or not due to business. I might be able to give it to someone who is going though.

I have been looking for one as well. I can't find the thread I was reading but somebody built one on a piece of plywood and then somebody else said to put it in a piece of PVC pipe. That is what I will build when the time comes.

The male side of the old 4 pin metal plug is still available at your local walmart or auto parts store under brand name "Hoppy". Then wire leading to a piece of 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" pvc pipe, 6" long, both ends capped. Drill a hole in one end cap for the wires to go in the pipe. Drill another hole in the other end cap for your switch to mount. I don't know the technical term but get a switch that is momentary on/OFF/ momentary on. Mount it in the end cap, wire it, put it on the body and you have a pretty nice hand held remote with thumb switch.

I know it is not the answer you were looking for but it might help in a pinch.
