The spare tire carrier changed 5/80 and will not be a direct replacement for an 81. Upper hinge changed spacing and location. It also has an extra tube support. I have a few of them myself but all are the earlier tube style.I've got a spare tire carrier off my '77. I'll shoot you a text.
Not what he's hunting......he wants the OEM spoked wheels....like these.
Thanks for your reply. Do your wheels have stampings on them. If so are the last 3 digits the date code. What size are your wheels? Thanks
If you are talking to me, these are on my 79, not for sale, as far as I know, all the white 15" are 6" wideThanks for your reply. Do your wheels have stampings on them. If so are the last 3 digits the date code. What size are your wheels? Thanks
Not sure on the spoke wheel wire but the previous version has a month year date code. Early welded rims in was on the inside where the tube would be and in many cases for rusted. I have rims with a 1961 code. No longer have any FJ25 rims but those were date coded as well. All my 60 series chrome spokes are in another location. Have a white spoke here somewhere but not sure it's even OEM. It is six spoke not the common eight spoke.Where’s the date code on the wheels?
I am still trying to figure that out. I am thinking it might be in the numbers stamped in the outside of the wheels.Where’s the date code on the wheels?
Yes, I figured your wheels were not for sale.If you are talking to me, these are on my 79, not for sale, as far as I know, all the white 15" are 6" wide
Mine before blasting and painting. Code on inside of rim.Where’s the date code on the wheels?
