I noticed a 4x4 Chevy van, mid-late 70's, 3/4 ton running gear in local car lot. Paint isnt great, but the price (900$) is right. you could drop a fresh Vortec in pretty easily. Might even be cheap enough for you to fly all the way here to Wasilla Alaska to pick it up. Definitely enough room to sleep in on the way back down. Check travelocity for airfare, ive seen round trip ticks go for $550.
