Hey everyone, new guy here just joined to post this and hopefully post more in the future. Like the title says I'm looking to buy a 1995-97 Land Cruiser.
This is what I'm looking for in the car:
Running- No smoke or head gasket issues or oil leaks preferably
Clean title- please no salvage or flood vehicles
4wd -obvi
Lockers- Preferably front, rear and center all working
99.9% rust free
Lifted with big tires 33's+ but 35's are preferred.
I would also love for it to have armor, bumpers, sliders skids, all of that is great but I understand that for my budget this might not be possible.
The good part for you guys wanting to get rid of yours and start a new project: Mileage doesn't really worry me as long as it has been properly maintained and everything is mechanically sound. So you guys with those 300k+ throw them at me.
I plan to turn this into a trail rig/ adventure build/ bug out apocalypse vehicle so I thats why I ask that everything be mechanically in order so that I can put her on the trail the day I get it and every weekend afterwards.
My budget for this is going to be around $7,000.00
I will be looking to purchase in the next month or as soon as my 4th gen 4runner sells or should i say 2runner bc its 2wd(hence the name).
I'm in Raleigh, NC wiling to drive a good bit or meet somewhere in the middle for the right car.
