2000, globes are shot. New ones coming in from Japan through impex in next few weeks. Can't wait to feel that cloud ride again.

Total cost of 4 new OEM globes 660 and change.

If it weren't for this place I never would have known about impex imports Great community here!

Need to get new ones so I am ready to replace them when time comes. Do you have the link to get them from? Never heard of Impex.

Thanks,

CR

Replaced all 4 tonight and did a full bleed using Padoo's method. Wen't from 3 graduations to 14 lol. Different vehicle.

Great to hear man👍hoping to have mine in about a week. Yeah I stay glued to this forum too...really glad I saw your recent post about IMPEX

Did your ride quality improve?

I guess I have finally got to this point in my 1999. It's weird, the ride is OK and the dampening settings still seem to mostly work, but when I come to a stop I can feel the truck rock front to back a couple times. If I let off the brake and then press it again I feel it rock again.

Going over bumps it doesn't keep bouncing like I'd expect if globes were shot, but I'm sure that's what it is

My 99 rides pretty hard, none of the cloud ride I hear about, lol. I've had it about a year and always assumed it was the globes, even though the system is "healthy" per the self-diagnosis stuff you see (7-8 gradations between high and low on the reservoir). I should probably take the ol' Techstream cable to it and make sure nothing is stupid off base with pressures, but I'm pretty glad to see the globes around $500-600 a set instead of $1000. A $500 once-every-22yrs maintenance repair is totally doable- that's about a car payment. A grand is tougher to swallow, mentally.

it’s about 750 out the door total with ahc fluid

Heh- still three digits instead of 4. Better!

Yeah. For sure. Granted the truck is a grocery getter, never been off road. If I had FU money and time I’d replace all the bushings and any other wear item like that, but it really doesn’t need it. It’s a 21 year old truck.
