I wanted to post up this rack I built for a customer locally here in San Diego for all to see and to guage interest. This is a smaller version of the barrier only version I have been selling in my thread here:
https://forum.ih8mud.com/merchandise-storefront/350109-80-series-interior-wagon-racks-sale.html

This barrier is super light and is perfect for folks whom want something simple and do not want the mesh material. The cross bars are 1/2 square stock and allow for better rear mirror viewing from the drivers seat. This customer wanted to have his amp mounted so I build some cross bars to do this for him. This space could be used for other ideas, such as some metal mesh being mounted there so you can mount a fire extinguisher, flashlight, first aid kit, etc using some hooks or standard bolts with fender washers. The barrier comes out very easily with 2 stainless allen head screws and 2 knobs. A stainless steel screw option is an option and comes with 4 stainless knobs so the barrier requires no tools to be removed when using the stainless knob option.

This barrier will be easier and cheaper for me to ship as it is smaller and the legs and upper arm tabs can be made to be removable. I will also be offering a DIY kit for folks whom have welder and some fab skills. The DIY kit will include all the metal needed with the angles cut to the right dimensions. It will also include all needed hardware as well as the aluminum logo plaque and rivets to attach it. Of course, some fittment and grinding will need to be done to get everything to fit correctly. The nice thing about a kit though is that the fabricator can add their own unique ideas such as the area below the headrests I mentioned before being used for other purposes. The DIY kit will also be much cheaper and easier to ship.

PRICING:

WAGONRACKS HEADREST BARRIER: $375 Bare Steel
Powdercoating Option: $75 (includes placement of logo with rivets)
Stainless Steel Knob Option: $67 (includes 4 stainless steel hand knobs, very nice quality)
* All racks come with logo plate and stainless steel rivets
* Standard hardware is 2 plastic knobs and 2 stainless steel head bolts

WAGONRACKS HEADREST BARRIER DIY KIT: $225 SHIPPED IN THE LOWER 48!
Kit includes all pieces cut to length and ready to weld together (some trimming involved), wagonracks logo, and all attachment hardware. You will need to drill 4 holes and do some minor cutting and bending to finish the job. Overall this is a fairly easy kit to put together and would be a good project for somebody whom is trying to learn how to weld a bit better. Kit will include some detailed instructions that will be posted on mud. Please PM me with any questions.
* additional custom requests available for added fee (for example: amp mount, or us of other area below the logo)

Please enjoy the pics and let me know if you are interested in this barrier.

Thank You!
