Hey all, I read a bunch of VSC TRAC, VSC OFF, CDL Lights stuck on threads...and I didn't see anything describing what I am experiencing...
2001 LC, 360+ mi... stock
I did a little trail fun in Stanislaus forest, including some pretty techy but not rock crawling descents and climbs using 4LO and CDL engaged. The truck did everything I asked it to do with no extra effort or hard motoring...there was some situations where wheels were off the ground due to bigger drop offs or tilting during a steep descent...full extension...
At the end of the day, headed back down 108 with CDL off, 4HI and no lights...driving normally. Diff definitely disengaged.
Eventually a dim VSC TRAC started to appear, and eventually achieved full illumination, kinda weird how it wasn't fully bright, no buzzing, no BRAKE or VSC OFF Light.
I filled up on the way back to the coast, turning the engine off. At restart, light was off, but returned after twenty miles or so...
Wondering if one of the speed sensors in the front hubs might have been pulled out of alignment?
I haven't taken anything apart yet, wondering if anyone else has experienced.
