So my VSC slip indicator is on all the time now. Not this isn’t the “VSC off” icon. It’s the “system is actively doing hill assist of trailer stability. I’m not moving and the light is always on.

This is on my 2013 and I have done a lot of rewiring it back to OEM which has involved moving the VSC switch back to OEM location. This seems more like a sensor issue though. I’m fire up the code reader and see if there are any codes.

In the photo of the dash, the BSC off is also on. I was playing with turning it on and off. It’s not functioning as I’d expect either. As I don’t get the “trac off” in the center screen when I push it.

On my wife's 2010 LX570 the VGRS light had been on for weeks. Techstream would say "lost communication with VGRS module" or something like that...I was about to open the whole steering to investigate, which I really did not feel like it, then I happen to take it to get fuel and notice the VGRS light "coincidently" went away on the FIRST start after fueling...then came back after that...A NEW GAS CAP RESOLVED VGRS LIGHT! I had been looking online and never saw this so clearly stated anywhere but it is true....

Well, I'm filing that under "things that make me go hmmmm..." I do know from a looking at all the fuses associated with VSC and the wiring diagrams, there is a lot of stuff going on with that system.

Part of my challenge is that I don't exactly recall when I first noticed the light nor what I had just done. Noting that would have been useful. I've been doing a lot of work including swapping transmissions/transfer cases and diffs (whole rear axle). Messing up one of the many input sensors is highly probable. I drove it around last night to see of I could get the light to come off to no avail. I don't think the system is operating at all. At least the hill assist wasn't coming on like it did in the past on my steep driveway. Oddly, my new 200 (that I've swapped lots of stuff over to), seems to have an operational VSC (no lights and switch works) but I can't get it to trigger on a steep incline, though I don't roll back either. That's not how my rig ever worked before. The weird nosiest and light also came on when started from a stop to go up the driveway. Our RAV and my Taco also have always triggered VSC on our driveway too. More things that make me go hmmmmm.

I may see if I can get a buddy to hook up tech stream as I don't have that. I may also try to disconnect the battery and connect the positive and negative through a resistor as a means of totally deenergizing all systems and maybe resetting whatever it is that's hung up.

Update. Reset/zero’s system with Techstream. Issue resolved. I assume that it was just a little confused after swapping suspension, axils, brakes etc.

Ready for auction now. The next major step in the adventure.
