Interesting brochure I picked up. It talks about Toyota giving 5 FJ25 Land Cruisers to an Expedition from Tokyo University in 1958. They were driving around Bolivia and Peru looking for relics from the Inca Empire.

The translation app is not perfect but it will help you understand the journey.

that's awesome, honestly I never thought to use the translation app to be able to read these JDM pieces. Great idea! I love it when I see something like this survive.
Yes I use google translate. Pause the translation and screen shot it.
 
Is there any ongoing thread for this kind of material? Like there’s a great ongoing tool thread on mud that gets lots of contributions, as well as a thread for the owners manuals but I haven’t really seen a good “early Toyota advertising & literature” thread I don’t believe? We should try to pull one together if not.
