I am came across this sweet 73 bug yesterday(lol orange) for 200 bucks. Damn good body and pan. I have always had a thing for those old rides and have owned a couple. Its so cheap because the motor is trashed and the reverse gear is out(which is real common). hell ack in the day I could drop one of those moters in about 1 hour.
So where is the mud of Voltswagon parts...and please dont tell me JC Whitney....lol

An hour to remove? When I owned a '71 with the stickshift automatic, I could replace a torque converter in an hour. 20 miniutes engine removal, 20 minutes with the converter and 20 minutes reinstall engine. I got good at it from doing it so many times. :frown:
