Voltage gauge not working

I would put a multi meter on the battery and start truck check your getting 13.8 to 14.4 volts into the battery. Then check at the voltage gauge if you got power if so the gauge needs replacing.

You might have a corroded or loose ignition cable as well.

On 73/74/75 Series trucks, sometimes the folding windshield seal fails and allows water in. It usually drips right into the ignition and volt meter cables. Water and current cause corrosion.

Botched alarm installations often cause the volt meter wiring to loosen and/or fail.

My windscreen is extremely leaky so I think this may be my problem
