How's it going everyone,

I'm in the process of upgrading my 2018 Nightshade and the next big item on my list is lighting. The stock projectors are okay, but I'm looking for a full LED setup with a more modern style, and frankly, I'm having a hard time justifying the cost of some of the big-name brands out there.

During my search, I stumbled across the VLAND headlights, which seem to be a much more affordable alternative. They look great in photos and have that sequential turn signal which is a nice touch.

My main questions are about real-world performance and durability, especially for a rig that sees its share of trails and bad weather. For anyone who has these installed:

  • How is the light output and beam pattern from the LED projectors? I'm hoping for a clean, sharp cutoff line for driving on dark roads without blinding oncoming traffic.
  • How have they held up over time? Any issues with vibrations, aiming, or water getting in after a heavy rain or a trip down a dusty road?
  • Was the install really as simple as plug-and-play?
I'm trying to figure out if these are a solid "bang for your buck" choice or if this is a "you get what you pay for" situation where I should just save up for something else.

Any on-road pictures of the beam pattern at night would be a huge help!

This is the startup animation they advertise, and the set I'm looking at for reference:
