While I know some of these are still available depending configuration of your cruiser, not all are.

For those of us that can no longer get new OEM, how do you get some made? I saw a thread on here where someone got a set made for a frame off restored BJ74 (link: For Sale: - BJ70 BJ74 and other 70 Series Door Panels ). Unfortunately, that guy informed me that it was a one-off set and he is no longer making any.

Mine are ok but I would just like to have a fresh set of panels for the cruiser. I found one upholstery business locally that can make them for me exactly just like ones the guy made for the restored BJ74 but not at a price I am willing to pay. They wouldn't even be able to start on my cruiser until Sept either due to the volume of business they get.

Best to check eBay Australia.
Honestly, go get aluminum cut, fit and powder coated.

Thanks. I guess when the time comes, I will just go custom on the door panels such as aluminum. As I said before, there is one local company that claims they can make them just like OEM but at $400 per panel...I just laughed at the guy and said forget it.

btw...I have LHD so I don't think ebay Australia will work anyways.

Door panels? *edit, I see you're looking for all for all the interior panels... I have only seen door panels* I don't believe there's a difference between LHD and RHD, but I could be wrong. The Australian ones look nice, but they are also available new OEM Toyota from Cruiser Parts. I'm sure Beno could get some as well, I'd PM him first. He's much easier to deal with than Cruiser Parts...

Front Door Panel Left 85-07 70 series [67620-60221-Oak or Gray] - $137.05 : CruiserParts.net, Toyota Landcruiser Parts

Front Door Panel Right 85-07 70 series [67610-60221-Oak or Gray] - $137.05 : CruiserParts.net, Toyota Landcruiser Parts

$137 each isn't bad.

Beno was my first option with cruiserparts being my second option. I was told by both that they are 1) discontinued and 2) no longer available for those that have the electric window switches. Of course you can still get them for those that have manual crank windows.

Thank you though for pointing me towards cruiserparts/Beno.

I could be wrong, but with the electric switch panel being bigger for the drivers side, then there will be a difference between LHD and RHD.

Whoa, a 70 series with electric windows! What luxury... That thought never crossed my mind  I can see how there would be a difference from RHD to LHD in that case.

Since it is the internet, I am not sure if you are being sarcastic to me...haha. I am not sure if they are factory but they sure do look like it.

Honestly, I would have preferred the manual crank windows, my FJ73 is not meant to be a Cadillac.

Electric windows are normal in some models like the ZX.
Those door panels are not too hard to make yourself if you have the old ones to make a pattern from.

Steve Bennett at SMS Headliners has been making these for 40/55s for a while.

I have for a Pig and ordering for 40 soon.

(Photo is representative sample, not mine, as they're still boxed and will remain for the many years of P&B that remain.)

Considered for the 73, but picked up a set for non-removable tops that are as mint and match the mint front and rear seats, and will somehow be modified for the removable top frames.

@a1500ram is Steve's user name and if anyone opts this route, I'll offer up a set of Euro spec panels (arm rest) for a template, if he doesn't already have.

Pretty sure he exports a lot of product to Oz, so may have the templates, already.

Steve Bennett is who made the panels shown in the link to the ih8mud thread in my first post of this thread. I called him and asked if he would make me a set and he was not interested in making them again. Thanks for the info though!

They are not that expensive from cruiserparts and may still be available from Toyota USA for std panels (oak or grey). You can also source modern ones via amayama. I just within past month ordered and received electric, arm rest, large side pocket oak panels (they have a material band matching my seats) for $170 ea plus freight.

Armrest part numbers for current body shape, all other models show as unavailable. I think they will be the same as far as bolting them up to the door is concerned. But I would be careful with anything from the newer plastic dash models.

What do you mean by "current body shape"?
The part numbers indicate no difference for LH or RH drive as I would expect, as the armrests are the same on both sides for manual windows.
Perhaps someone with a "current body shape" could post the measurement of the distance between the mounting screws.
