I’m looking for someone in the greater Charleston area that knows how to repair & keep my ‘82 FJ40 in it’s “original” condition as best possible. I need someone who can help with rust removal & mild water intrusion, as well as new paint, repair (?replace?) interior head liner, etc McIntosh Imports has been recommended, anyone have experience with them? Thanks for the feedback!

MacIntosh is great for mechanical. I dont thimk he does any body work. He does know Landcruisers, though.

Good luck finding a body guy. Ive been looking for my sons restored 86’ Chevy K10. I have someone but hes always backed up

I can take care of the mechanical work, but not doing bodywork at this time

Terry McIntosh, McIntodsh imports, Walt Miller dr in Mt. Pleaasant
I can do anything Terry can do, probably cheaper and lots quicker.
I know he is backed up, and 40's and 60's get pushed to the back of the line.
Give me a shout. 843-270-1582

I see Limehouse paint and body do some good older vehicles (and custom cars). might be somewhere else to give a call for body work. I feel like if its out of their wheelhouse, they will probably just say so. its down on Johns Island. Ive never personally used them but have heard people say they did quality work on their vehicles.
