I'm looking to purchase this front bumper, but looking for opinions on to "HOOP" or " NO HOOP" Pics of both attached from Victory site

Why? or Why not? thx all

I personally like the no hoop look best, but I needed the deer strike protection. The bar gets in the way a bit too doing work on the truck, but sometimes it offers a good place to sit while I work so it depends.

What was previously said. Do you have concerns about animal strikes? Then get the hoop to protect your radiator a bit more.

I would also say it protects that front quarter panel a lot as well. On these older trucks if you fold that section up and smash a headlight in an animal strike it can easily total it out....ask me how I know. If I had that hoop on my bumper my LX would likely have been fine.

Agree with the above, looks better without, more protection with.

This isn't apples to apples, but I bought an ARB in a similar configuration and it's eaten 3 deer, at least one of which was at highway speed, as well as pushing some cars up a hill and ramming a dumpster.

Incidentally, do we have any data or anecdotes about people smacking into things with Victory4x4s product? I know it's new, so we may need to give people time to smack into things with it.

I agree with most here, I think without looks better, and concerns are nominal. I hit a deer with my shrockworks bumper with my 4runner, had hoops too at 70mph, that beast went air born and died in my arms. Needless to say, with the 4runner being lifted, when I hit him he went flying, no damage at all, I was impressed.

But I can see where the hoops would give that extra assurance to get the beast / dumpster and such extra protection.

I wish victory had some test runs, or something showing the bumper can take a hit.

Is there such a thing as crash test venison??

sounds like someone needs to set a salt lick in the middle of the road just outside of kalamazoo....and see what happens.....kidding not kidding

I’ve got a victory bumper coming. I’ll post reviews

Ive never seen that bumper before. Looks really good. Looks kind of like a high clearance ARB with the bull bar.

Their website says 30-60 days lead time. This is after they offered a 10% off Black Friday sale so not surprising.

My wife ordered my bumper the day before thanksgiving and I was told today it will be delivered to me 1/18. Considering the multiple weeks of holidays between now and then, and it’s within their 30-60 day lead time, I would says that’s pretty damn good.

Its the bumper ill be going with as soon as im ready. I will be going without bars in steel so i can flat tow it behind our motorcoach. Still waiting on my roof rack that was 12-15 day lead time from Nov. 27th...
