I am having fairly strong vibrations felt in my steering wheel. Not like warped brake shaking, but a fairly strong vibration. Strong enough at faster highway speeds that it makes my hand think that it could go numb. I did have a codes pop up recently for an abs sensor in the rear while I was driving in a very heavy rain. Cleared it and it has not returned. I have no idea whether it is related or not. I'm curious if it could be rear wheel bearings. Jacked it up and shook the tires. Felt no play. I have also been changing my compression/rebound settings on the bp 51 and found what I thought drove best. No strange noise except for an occasional squeek from what i think is a rear shock. Any ideas on where I should look or how to inspect wheel bearings further?

Is it possible you lost a weight on any of your rims causing a massive vibration with the tire being out of balance? I have had it happen before so just a thought to check. A lot of vibration can be caused by this.

Have much rust? If not it’s pretty easy to pull the rear ABS sensors and inspect the ends of them for evidence of contact with the axle bearing shield, which would indicate rear bearing wear.

I had a steering wheel vibration that after a lot of inspecting other things ended up being a bad tire. Nothing visible from the outside, but one of the steel belts had broke. It was a defect inside the tire replaced the tire and all good. I figured this out by rotating my tires. With the bad tire on the rear the vibration was much less.
