craigslist Very Unique 2006

No affiliation, just saw this on craigslist and was initially interested but decided to pass. I though I'd post it up because you don't see many US models with no navigation, roof rack and running boards. I briefly spoke to the seller. His English is not great and it was hard to get much info out of him. The seller says it's from New jersey, but doesn't have any rust. I highly doubt that and was not able to get any pics of the undercarriage. I pulled the carfax and it has spent it's life in NJ so I guess the current owner is just trying to flip it. I was really expecting it to be from Puerto Rico or HI because of the configuration and the VXR designation. It has a pretty good service history and if anyone is interested in the carfax, PM your email and I'll send it to you.

sounds scammy. 2006 for 12k. listing says "2006 Ford Mustang GT". the plates say Kentucky, yet the carfax only pulls it up as registered in NJ?

did he account for any of that?

Yes, definitely sounds fishy. I only posted this because of the unique configuration. If someone close by wants to see it in person maybe it will check out, but I would be very careful. I asked the seller if it was from KY and he said it was from NJ. I then asked if it had any rust and he said no rust and it was in great condition. I asked about maintenance records and he said it's in great condition and din't need any work done. This was in very broken English and at this point I decided I wasn't gonna get alot of info from him so I just followed up with a text asking for the VIN and he sent me the build plate from inside the door.

Aren't those headlights only up to 2005? I thought the headlights are one piece on a 2006-7.
