I'm parting with "Blue," my 1987 FJ 60. It is in VERY good condition. I had a new 3.5" OME lift kit (shocks, shackles, springs, etc...) installed professionally last year, and then added the 33x10.50x15 BFG All Terrains on 15 x 7" rims (including a new 33x9.50x15 BFG AT spare.) The rig has a total of 196K actual miles, but the 2F was rebuilt at about 165K miles. PASSES EMISSIONS. Interior is clean, and everything mechanical, interior and exterior is functional except the rear defrost (which I've never needed anyway.) The front bumper is slightly dented, but otherwise the exterior looks like new. The paint is glossy. Newer CD player with Alpine amp and new 6" front speakers. New radiator and water pump.
Seriously, I've seen enough 60's and driven enough to know that this one is in very good condition. It needs no reconditioning or repairs (unless you want to repair the rear defrost), but is just dying to be upgraded. I take good care of my toys and this one is no exception. I really wanted to deck this bad boy out with all sorts of goodies, but I don't have the time, money, or mechanical expertise. So, I want this to go to a good home where it will be loved and appreciated. I purchased it for $3800 in Sept. 2008, and I have put in over $5000 since (and have the receipts to prove it!) Bottom line, I'm asking $4899. I think that's a pretty fair price for the condition and the money I've put in it.
