hi all. fully enjoying my new to me fj40. slowly working on things to make it better and such. read lots of posts on vaccum and leaks etc. some of my lines look questionable dried out etc. purchasing a vaccum gauge and some new tubing to replace some lines. whats the common sizing for fj40. i see 1/8 inside and 5/32 inside etc on amazon. should i try to get a multi pack, are some bigger than others on the fj? thanx in advance.

Toyota OEM # 90999-92008 is 3.5mm and still available. 92008 is the longest at 2600mm, which should be enough to do the whole truck or check with AbsoulteWit's end

OEM Vacuum Hose Kit- 3.5mm - https://absolute-wits-end.com/oem-vacuum-hose-kit-3-5mm/

I just replaced al the vacuum hoses on my son's 80 and still had some left over. FWIW, inch sized hoses will not fit properly. They will fit, but...1/8" will split, eventually, and 5/32" will leak.

Oh, and it's not an FJ, that's one of these:

FWIW, there are differences in the year models, so it's always helpful to state what you have, and what modifications have been made.

Here are the parts diagrams for my '78 40 (yours might be different:

Yes. I did what Roger suggested, silicone line, once and done.
