Got back from Va. Beach this morning.Trip was a success,no breakage,and I launched the truck.Enter`d for 2 races on Sat and 1 on Sun,Fri night races were cancelled due to coastal storm.18 trucks on Sat noon race,top 16 qualify.Lost the next race to my friend in his `69 Bronco(302).Sat evening race 20 trucks,top 16 qualify.I actually made it to the top 8,beating a Blazer with a 350.Lost my next race to a guy in a Kaiser with a 400hp Chevy.Sun 20 trucks,again top 16 get to race again.Lost my next race to a guy in a j@#p with a 502BB Chevy.
All that with a 2F,4 speed,411s,and 31" street tires aired down to about 10psi.People keeped asking my if I had a 350 in it.When I told them it was a 2F they said "thats a fast truck"(ha,ha).I`ll post some pics and a link to my site soon.
