Next Uwharrie work weekend is the 19th of May. Please mark your calenders. It will be a Heavy workday as it will involve putting in more Guardrail up on Fallsdam.

I know this is while we are up there at the Uwharrie anyway so maybe we can get more to come up for both events.

Please help support our efforts to keep our trails open for awhile longer by volunteering for these. Without us doing these events every month we would not have our trails open much longer.

i finally got the new cat guard/ front slider mount cut out and bent this weekend, then started welding them and my welder stareted acting up. (jerry to the rescue) i was able to finish up the welding and now, just need to buff it out a bit and paint it. (i should be able to finish this up in the next few days.) so with soccer/volleyball season over i can't think if anything stopping me. :)

I'll be there and ready for some work. Most likely gonna ride the yamaha around cause burt needs some time off.

My nephew Lee and a friend is bringing his Alaskan mail heep down for the ride and said they would be able to help with the trail work.

What kind of tools do we need for this? Chain saw, shevels, picks, i am planning on going but this will be my first time helping with the trails.

Darin, can you bring those springs for me to checkout?

It's my first time too. Is the plan to meet at the Outpost for breakfast around 8am or just meet at the Hunt Camp at 9am on Saturday?

i'll be there. i am Leaving Charlotte early if some one wants to caraban or a ride. Coming back the same day

Ok,

So i wanted to get this out there as soon as i got home.

I have to Thank everyone that showed up today. I am not the rep for us there, but i take it very personnal as i consider the trails home. As everyone that showed up today knows we were the only ones that showed up. No one else from any other club showed up beside Eli. With that being said i am very happy with the turn out today and with what we got done. Even if we had a few hiccups with the Bobcat. Have never pulled one of those before with my 40 up there so i can add that to my winches history.

Anyway enough of my chattering.

Thanks much again ya'll.

Posting pics Robin took.
