What nights are you camping Darin? How many in your group?

Me and the wife so far, not sure whats up with John yet. Going up Sat morning and coming back Sun night.

Cool. We'll be coming through on Sat afternoon (east to west on the way home from OBX). It would be cool to meet to hit a few trails on our way home if it doesn't cramp anyone's style. The cruiser will be ready for some rocks, ruts and dirt after a week of sand and surf...

April, 22 weekend is also the Zuwharrie event with a lot of Suzukis! It is big event so watch the little guys run all over the place! Kind of torn on taking my FJ there as i need to sell my Rock Crawler Samauri and Since ebay did not sell i might be doing the Zuk thing to try and sell it. But hope to run into you guys there.
later

How does Outpost at 9:00 work Saturday morning the 22nd. I know some will be camping at badin lake campsites is this the majority? Just a suggestion but i think it might be good to get together and set some dates for future rides and events maybe saturday night, anyone feel the same way?

IS the outpost a easy place to find in uwharrie. Giving that I don't know any of yall and I've never been there. It'll be just like finding waldo but in real life

Depending on where you are coming from, if you come in on HWY 49, then once you get on HWY109 and are approaching Uwharrie the Outpost will be on your Right. It's kindof hard to miss even if unfamiliar with the area as you will usually see quite a few rigs there almost anytime fo the day. I will try and get an address and post up a map.

Outpost meeting should be ideal. Everyone can get there, get gas, food, snacks whatever. If i can go, i'll meet at the outpost by 9:00.

I may be in Raleigh at a WSP show.

You have to have a permit yes, but you can buy one for a day, or the one for the year. I always go with the year one because i try to make it there a few times.

John, as long as i get off my lazy 4th point of contact and put my new motor mounts on you are more than welcome to come with us.

Darin,
Sorry, I have been out of the net for the past few days. Someone came up with a great idea that we would jump in to 29 Palms, CA. Anyway, I just got home. I would like to ride with you, but I cannot commit yet. I will give you a call this weekend after I clear it with the wife.

John

Darin,
I am still not sure if I can go or not so plan on me not tagging along. I will be in the field all next week. I hope to have my Cruiser back by the end of the week and I will have to work on her (Aussie Locker). I really want to get the old girl trail ready and drive myself.

John

Wont be making this trip, have to trek down to Wilmington to bring all the sister's junk home from college! Will make the next one for sure.

Noob, and not a member, but interested

I'm a student at Wofford College in SC, but I'm from Greensboro, NC. I just got a '96 LC this week, and I was curious if it would be possible to tag along for this uwharriee trip? I'm not a member, as I'm very new to the four-wheeling world, and therefore little experience, but I've been told there are two "easy" trails at this OHV area. If you had room for me, I'd be more than interested in coming along.

Come on along, the more the merrier. You are more than welcome to come on out.
