I want to see the pic after you went thru that! Was Ken's shirt still the same color?

The camera ran out of memory on that shot!

It was supposed to be a progression of pics as they crossed the pit.

Ken made it out unscathed though...

what was the verdict on Alex's rig?

what was the verdict on Alex's rig?

No problems all the way home. The ironic part of the whole trip was it was Alex telling me to pull over so he could fill up. Took me 13 gallons to get there where as it took him around 18-20.

Just goes to show how the tables have been turned on my fuel issues. The Aisan carb gets a lot better gas milage than the old webber I had.

concret ''skinny pedal'' jungle at it again..... can someone add a marley soundbite :D

Maybe we should have a monthly caption contest to go towards a UC calender or merely for our own entertainment???

"how many cruiserheads does it take to fix a cruiser?"
or
"ok its up now, someone just jump in and start it :D"

glad it all worked out for you Alex, easiest fix you ever had huh?

Bad hand day/bad safety example

Ken your hand is in the wrong place.

Marshall,
If you will bring that rag up to my shop I will put the dash grab bar where it can be reached; like, maybe up there under the roll bar....and we can both stop being bad examples.
For those who have not heard; there was a rollover at 07 GSMITR with a person grasping the roll bar just as I am doing. He was airlifted out and lost fingers I am told, so Marshall is absolutely right.......consider my hand slapped.

Bad Rider!

Yeah, easy fix. Until I tried to swing my fat butt unto the captains chair!

Okay okay.... for those of you who were not present in my moment of glory: We had taken my rear tire of to check the cause of a vibration. Juan asked to me to get in and start up to see how the tires rotated. I went around the drivers side, grabbed the steering wheel to pull myself in. The cruiser was yanked off of the dual hi-lifts and fell on top of my rim that we had taken off.

Okay, there it is.

I must be respected in the club because no one fell down laughing (at least not while I was there).:o

That and the fact that there are no pics posted of the sudden weight-shift. :D

Glad no one was hurt.

You definetly need to keep your arms/legs inside the cage. Last summer while wheeling in Tennessee, a guy in our group rolled his rig off of a bank about 6 feet tall into the creek bed below. It hit hard on the passenger side, rolled onto the top of the cage, and ended up on the driver side. He somehow let his left arm get outside of the cage, and it got caught between the cage and the rocky creek bed. He suffered a compound break of the forearm.

Luckily one of the guys was already out of the creek, and on the bypass out of the woods. He rushed the injured guy to the local hospital, and they immediately transported him to the hospital in Chattanooga where he had emergency surgery. He was very lucky not to have permanent damage.

Moral of the story is to keep your whole body inside of the roll cage, that's why it's there!

:) Good ol' Marshall.

I think most people would agree that a Weber (38/38) pulls more horsepower than a stock Aisin. Thus, >power = > gas consumption.

I still love you, you big galoot:D

PS: Can you hear what I'm thinking?

SO by meaning more HP you mean you should have no problem keeping up with me on the highway?:flipoff2:
