This post is a little preemptive, my new set of headlights will be done in about a week but posting the old set in the off-chance that someone in Utah wants to stop by and go for a drive with the headlights on the rig before deciding to purchase. Before you dig into the specs and price, consider how much money people send on offroad lighting when it is normally only used on dirt. Compare that to how much time the rig specs on dirt vs on pavement. Every vehicle on the road should have solid headlights, and these fit that bill.
I've had a business building custom headlights for over 8 years and these are my personal set off my 08 lx570. Specs will be posted below. They are 100% plug and play and require no modifications. These do retain AFS functionality but I've found it to be more distracting than helpful, so I keep it turned off. Not a hint of moisture issues. This setup provides 4 low beams and 4 high beams, which blows factory optics out of the water. Output shots below, garage shots with labeling is one headlight only, pic with 80 series and pickup is both mounted.
BUILD SPECS (now 5 months old):
-New lenses
-PPF on lenses before they ever saw the road (Not super stoked with PPF install but better than nothing)
-NHK M5+ in factory location
-Sanvi S8 in high beam reflector
-Tuxedo black paint w/ 2k clearcoat
-Painted orange reflector
ONLY CON: the passenger side lower mount was broken off at the dotted line, this happened at some point before my ownership of the vehicle. This does not affect the stability or fit of the passenger side. It's still rock solid with no vibrations. Just for peace of mind, when the bumper comes off for removal I will be 3d printing a tab and fixing it in place so it still bolts down.
PRICE: $1450
Local pickup preferred, will slightly discount for ease, but I do have oem boxes that I can ship them in. Shipping not included in price and should be expected between $100-150 due to size and weight. PayPal accepted, G&S will have an extra 3.5% added to cover the fee.
