Does any one own or have interior pictures of a US base model? One without the Upgrade Package and/or Nav Option?

I swear I saw pictures awhile back. No wood, no cool box, no nav, all leather wheel? Prior to 2013 you could configure them this way - but it only accounted for 2% of sales. Probably only a few hundred exist.

This is my white whale.

If any one has any pictures please post them up.

Thanks!

I have no pictures, but I backed out of a sale when I found out the 2008 Amazon Green Metallic I was looking at was the base model. It was for sale at Clearwater Toyota in Miami. And yes, someone did post pictures a while back.

I'm guessing the dash will look like this...

Ahh. Amazon Green, Grey Interior and no Upgrade Package is what I would love to find.

Kreiten - thats interesting, low end radio but wood steering wheel. Hmm...

Anyone else?

This one had tan interior.

And I believe Kreiten is incorrect about the steering wheel. There are a few pictures of the non-NAV based versions in the factory manual, and I think it may differ from the center dash and controls like the picture he posted. The base models that I have seen, including the one I almost bought had an all leather steering wheel, no NAV screen, no DVD player, and no cool box. I can't remember if the shifter had wood grain (I think it did though). I backed out of the deal, because they were pricing it like a fully loaded model and would not come off the price. That, and my wife was insistent that we get the DVD for the family, and I was already pretty bummed about the cool box (which I might add, is awesome. I use it often, and put my cold stuff there after going to the grocery and not wanting to go home right away).

I pretty much just google searched base model and saw no satnav so I posted the pic, didn't notice it had the wood trim, might atleast give ya an idea of what it might look like:)

Ha. Yeah, well you were pretty much spot on except for the steering wheel, and I am almost positive that I have seen the wood wheel with that particular screen in your image. I think you picture is of an oceana spec 200.

Edit: Nope I was wrong. The Oceana specs do have that particular screen, but have rubberized wheels. Gah, now im really confused.

I am not a cool box fan yet, although it does work surprisingly well at keeping items I'd normally store in a center console in a cool state. No worries about my chap stick melting.

Seriously though, I miss having a conventional center console. I need room for stuff, not a deep hole.

there was on for sale recently in San Antonio, no cool box, leather wheel, it was a silver 2008. from what I understand that was only available on the early 2008 models, then they call came with the wood and cool box

Umm , you can still use the coolbox as a console, just don't turn the cooler on.

Right, I was being facetious about my chap stick. Either way though, I'd rather have a proper rectangular center console compartment than a square deep hole. For me, it's a waste of space. Literally, the lid has to protrude into the upper console compartment severely hampering space where I normally keep random key chains, pens, change, et cetera. Now I have to toss those into an abysmal black hole along with containers of chewing gum, check books, note pads, wet wipes, sun glasses and stuff and such.

To make it even worse, you have to accomplish some type of yoga move to bend your arm around to reach into the damn thing.

I hate it. I'd rather have proper storage space than something for my kids Capri Suns to bounce around in.

I keep a proper cooler for the chilly pops in the truck.

we use the cool box all the time, but it is a crazy yoga move to get your drink out:D

So where are y'all keeping all your stuff or do I just carry too much crap?

The glove compartment is out of the question. I usually keep a pistol in there so it has to remain locked.

one of my few complaints about the 200, just not enough storage room, glove boxes have gotten smaller and smaller(I'm sure it's airbag related) We have the glove box jammed full(barley closes) the nets on the back of the front seats hold a lot of stuff! I put some of my stuff in the tailgate compartments... even the sunglass holder is too small for all of my sunglasses(not kidding) but If my biggest complaint about a rig is i can't fill it full of so much junk(happened in my tundra) then that is a solid rig!!! My wife always looks at me like I'm less of a man when I ask her to reach into the cold box and grab my tasty beverage because my rotator cuff is hurting just thinking about it, but she always gets my drink for me:cheers:

the chapstick melting is a real problem, albeit a first world problem:) the struggle is real....

Me thinks you have too much crap in your car. Maybe a small Tupperware in the back would help out.

I probably do have to much stuff. Currently there are two large clear plastic storage bins in the back; one for biking stuff, another filled with tools. Beyond that are bicycle helmets/shoes, yoga mats, chainsaw, Camelbak bag, hedge trimmers (loppers,) umbrella, boots and a rain jacket. Oh, and the obligatory cooler. I really need to get those third row seats out!

And now that wood goat season is open there will be bows, rifles, camo clothes, et cetera.

Like the mullet hair style, my Cruiser is business up front and party in the rear.....
