Guys, I need your help locating a bearing for my H55F transmission of my HZJ77. I had noise in the transmission and after pulling it found out that this bearing needs to be replaced. I am not a mechanic so can't tell where it exactly came from. I need contact details of the store or dealer that might have this bearing available for immediate shipping.
Thanks,

If you could take a pic of what shaft the bearing came off it would help.
See if you can ID it on this H55 line drawing.
If I was going that far into a tranny I would put a
rebuild kit in it, not just one bearing.
EPC H55F.webp

I´ve rebuilt a couple of H55's and that bearing looks like 33411A on the EPC to me.
I also have to agree with 70s guy that you'd be better of with a full bearing kit.

Thanks guys, the guy who took apart the tranny confirmed it is the 33411A bearing. Do you have any idea where I can buy it or the whole kit and have it shipped to me in Mongolia.

There are two bearings like the one shown that come out of the gearbox that have different sized roller bearings inside them, same size case outside. I think the one shown is the front layshaft bearing that has the biggest roller bearings in it. I think the one with the smaller roller bearings goes on the back of the shaft. Both have circlip retainers. There are only two other bearings from the front imput and output shaft that have retainers and these are much larger bearings , one fitted with a seal. they will only go back one way on the shaft if I remember correctly. But you should replace all your bearings as previously stated by the other guys. It looks like that bearing has turned on the shaft at some time previous. Please realize its about 18 months since I rebuilt my gearbox and I could have these bearings the wrong way round as I have written it.

You can also call a bearing supply company and give them that bearing number "koyo......." they shold have it. I agree with the other guys though - you most likely have other worn bearing and should replace them when you have the chance.

as Mark said it's 33411A = a counter shaft bearing.

90365-32002 is what the doctor ordered.

I'd think about a whole kit though, why stop there (and kits don't have synchro rings -which the best synchro are Toyota).

By the way, I have to restore my H55F, anubody knows if exists a kit or something like that that includes bearings, o-ring and any other piece that needs to be replaced? And maybe how much it would cost...

Yes there are kits avaiable in the US, and OZ both countries usually sell aftermarket kits but the bearing quality is very good. I also think this are common in Canada as well. Not sure about where you are, but I would think they are also available in italy.

Cheers,

Michael

Francesco, since you're in Italy, the closest to you would be All American Imports in Holland, they have all the parts in stock and probably ship to Italy

I'm sure they can and will help you out.

Yes, from me. But not sure if there is a whole kit.

If you can come up with a plan to transfer the funds to me I can come up with a plan to send the parts to you.

email me sales@japan4x4.com
