Upstate NY and Vermont Trails

[Upstate Tex]

Are there any of you in the Upstate NY or Vermont area? Does anyone know of any trails up here in the Great White North?

I moved up from Texas, and I see a lot of Toyota 4x4s, but no one seems to use them off road too much. (Most of the roads and driveways around here might as well be trails; I need 4wd just to get up my in-laws' driveway.)

If not in USNY or VT, is there anyone in New Hampshire?

there is a trail here in east greenbush, ny....but its not that much...great hard core wheeling in VT. email this guy farmboy@sover.net. he (Tyke Moses) lives in southern vt and goes out most every sunday am. He's a good supply of used parts and hard core fab work, tell him johnnyc sent ya

There is wheeling in Moticello (near Catskills) and in Schoharie county (not sure of exact location). As much as it would pain me, J**p clubs are the best resource in NY. There are far too many tree huggers and of course APA (Adirondack Park Assoc.) ruins it for all motorized vehicles in northern NY.

Oh, used to live near Saratoga and went to school in Plattsburgh.

I live about 45 minutes East of Glens Falls, NY (Exit 19 on the Northway); right on the VT border. (You could throw a baseball into Vermont from the edge of my property.) I work in Poultney, VT; about 30 minutes from Rutland, VT.

Alot of Trails here in NH. Local club is Yankee Toys, we are a TLCA Chapter, and we are also a member of NEA4WD an association who works hard to gain access to private lands.
You could also check out Gotham City Land Cruisers, they wheel alot in NY.
