Upload Of Photo

I posted a new thread and went to "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS" and added a photo well within th limits.
My attachment was reflected by the red line but there's no photo shown in my thread.
Is there a special sequence when doing attachments?

Thanks for the help, but I attached the pic from my hardrive and it shows on the red line. How do I delete it and start again if I did it incorrectly. I don't know if you can check it just from my attachment file, Brian

User CP > Manage Attachments
