I wanted to give my feedback on the quality of this upgrade. I had the OME J springs for a little over 2 years. I started with just the suspension at the time didnt have any armor. As I started adding my front ARB bumper, Winch, dual batteries, I had to add a 30mm front spring spacer to level it out. Then I built my rear storage setup with a fridge, a roof rack with a RTT, and then a Rear bumper with dual carriers. When I went camping the truck would sit lower and I just didnt like the look plus the added weight put a strain on them. So I started looking for an alternative, at the time it was either upgrading to COMP springs or going to a slee kit. A buddy of mine introduced me to the Dobinson USA distributor and he told me try these springs out and if you dont like them I will take them back if you do then pay me. So I took him on this offer. You can see the thread I created when I did this.

I was very happy with the setup, the rig was solid, didnt feel wobbly on the trail road manners where perfect and smooth. When I put up the new thread I had a lot of inquires about the springs and at that time my friend @ Dobinson was only setting up shop he was waiting on inventory to come from down under. So I couldnt help much. I liked the product so much that I am offering Dobinson suspensions to the MUD community. I have great pricing and get the full support and warranties directly from Dobinson.

So for all of those mudder with obese rigs like mine. Dobinson is the route you would take to maintain lift, and be able to carry all the added weight safely. Here are some comparisons from the J spring when compared to the 4" HD Dobinson Coil and the Dobinson J Spring equivalent.

Front

Here is the link for the Dobinson for sale thread for pricing. I want to make this as tech as possible.

Dobinson makes a ton of different coils for the 80. Your application may be different then mine. Here are the different applications for our beloved 80 series.

Another option for heavier springs is OME Comp springs. The 4" front is 2419, 300lbs/in and rear 4" 2422, 280lbs/in.

Also the 863J is 250lbs/in.

Are there spring rates listed somewhere for these springs?

C59-308 FREE HEIGHT 555mm / 565 mm SPRING RATE 275.85 lbs per inch

C59-309 FREE HEIGHT 520mm / 530mm SPRING RATE 273.97 lbs per inch

C59-170 FREE HEIGHT 515mm / 525mm SPRING RATE 236.17 lbs per inch

C59-171 FREE HEIGHT 485mm /495mm SPRING RATE 327.52 lbs per inch
