Upgraded Wheel /tire com but still tucked

I'm trying to avoid the skateboard look, what upgraded wheel / tires size combo have worked for folks and still stay reasonably tucked.

Assume mild level needed.

Looking at this one, has Icon 17 in @ +18, Toyo 285/75/17 Thoughts? A little wide for this old guy...maybe.

Icon recommends +40mm, Method and Westcott recommend +35mm.

Tire width would impact the look also.

Best to measure how much you want the new setup to stick out compared to OEM and use this calculator.

If you stay at/above +40mm offset you should be fine unless you go wide (over 285) in tire selection.
