For Sale — 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser (Classic Silver)

Price: $40,000 firm— I’ll be listing it on Bring a Trailer later this week last chance before bidding!

Why I’m Selling

I never thought I’d part with my dream Land Cruiser, but our dealership just took in a Porsche Cayman S on trade, and the employee-pricing opportunity was too good to pass up.

Details & Ownership History
  • One-family truck: Purchased new in Astoria, Oregon and kept there until this year.
  • Original owner: Finnish-born WWII veteran who farmed until his passing at 101. The CarFax labels it “commercial” simply because it was his only on-road vehicle besides farm equipment.
  • Accident-free: AutoCheck reports zero accidents; CarFax lists one minor incident—a gentle bump to the rear bumper (photos included). Ultrasonic rear parking sensors were added afterward.
  • Rust-free Pacific Northwest example: Pristine paint, zero oxidation, crystal-clear headlights.
I flew to Oregon, had a dealer PPI and oil change performed (records included), then drove it 2,200+ miles home to Texas without a hiccup. Odometer now reads 100,575 miles.

Mechanical Refresh (All OEM Parts)

I work at a Land Rover dealership and had one of our master techs—who previously worked at a Lexus store—fully baseline the truck. All work is documented and completed using OEM Toyota parts. Here’s what’s been done:
  • Full OEM timing belt and water pump kit
  • Thermostat replacement
  • New spark plugs
  • Replaced heater “T” fittings and associated hoses
  • Replaced both front CV boots
  • Full fluid service (engine oil, transmission, differentials, transfer case, and AHC hydraulic system)
  • Front and rear brake pads and rotors
  • Oil pan gasket resealed
  • Installed new front skid plate
Cosmetic & Convenience Upgrades
  • New front and rear bumpers, professionally painted in-house at my dealership’s body shop
  • 5 brand-new Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 tires (275/65/18)
  • Wheels professionally refinished
  • Grom BT3 Bluetooth audio integration
  • Full exterior detail including clay bar treatment and polish
  • New wiper blades
  • Replaced chipped rear taillight
Driving Impressions

The truck feels factory-fresh—tight steering, dead-silent cabin, and a supple ride on the new Michelins. Everything works: sunroof, power antenna, center diff lock, low-range 4WD, and every light and switch.

Disclosures (Minor)
  1. Passenger-side running board is slightly bowed at the front.
  2. Windshield has a chip and a crack that lines up with the wiper in its resting position. I chose to keep the original Toyota glass, as 100 Series windshield fitment can be tricky to get right.
Closing

I’ve spared no expense treating this Land Cruiser as a “forever” vehicle; the next owner will reap the benefits. I’m happy to provide:
  • Full CarFax & AutoCheck reports
  • PPI paperwork from the Oregon Toyota dealer
  • Detailed service receipts and photos (including the minor fence bump)
Questions? Need a specific photo or record? Just let me know!
