I curently have a manual brakes on my 69' fj40 .I did a 4 wheel disc conversion several years ago and replaced the master cylinder with a S-10 master cylinder . and i am running 35" tires .i don't have much room next to the throtle body [2F conversion and AFI fuel injection] ,air cleaner .A friend said their is a thred on useing a hydro asist brake off of a one ton dodge .I am familier with this unit in have a Dodge. Can someone please direct me in the right direction so i can get the this in formation.
Thank you .Dennis

Ok i look up this site , but it does not do anything for me . i have a 2F in it and the unit would run right in to the air cleaner , it has AFI injection kit if i had some sort of offset fot the brake pedle and get it past the clutch master cylinder it would work. does anyone have any suggestions?

Pics please

Wha carb is that?

It's a throttle body with a pretty cool filter assembly that Dennis fabed up. He will have to tell us what type it is though.

Hey Dennis, that light bar tucked in nicely, looks great!:smokin:

well it is a throttle body .as i said eariler in this thread it has a AFI kit on it . thanks for the noticing it Alic . AFI kit throttle body adaptor had to be milled out on one side to clear a head bolt and i also had to cut a hole in the valve cover to clear the throttle sensor plug. i think if i had to do it all over i would see if i could find a adaptor that Downey sold at one time or make one ,if i had a milling machine, then i would not have to be figuring out the power brake sinero. i thought about a offset mount for the hydro asist but that would put everything way out in the engine compartment.

Ferd guys are nutz...

well i did look at the bracket it seems pretty simple. Now all i have to do is build something simular or change the intake for the throttle body .
