Puerco is your best option. As mild or wild as you want. I would lead but still don't have/can't afford a spare AT tire and don't wanna risk it. Surely someone here on local MUD will take you out.
I might like to go/ lead, lemme check our schedules. If it's dry, Cedro may be better.

No matter where we decide to go, how about meeting at a predetermined place at 7:30am? If too early, any alternate time is fine. The heat does not bother me.

I should be in for a run. I talked to my friend Dan, he knows the puerco pretty well. He could easily lead for us. The only problem is that he is not a morning person. I have to drag his ass out to get to 9:00 AM meeting point. The heat does not bother me either. At least the Cruiser has AC. It will feel like a lap of luxrary to me.
I think I've seen your rig a lot on Alameda as well as coming down Corrales Road....I've slowed down to check your rig out, but it's always been in traffic and have missed it.
It's a white or silver one right? It's set up pretty nicely from what I can see.

Yes. You can even spread out on the jumps seats and go for a snooze as I know you are currently not an earlier riser.
Will you provide ratchet straps to secure me in my slumber on the jump seats on the way to the trailhead?
Saw you driving the 40 yesterday afternoon/evening on Corrales Rd. Looked and sounded great. You've gotten a lot done on that project in a short time compared to most people.

Another option...
August 7th and 8th will be the XORRA Points finals in Cortez. About as close as these races get to us. Colorado Springs has them also. Cortez is 4.5-5 hours from ABQ. Should be some sweet action.
