Hey guys, I have a peculiar problem with my suspension on my GX. It seems like it is leaning towards the drivers side. The passenger rear has the highest space between fender and wheel and the drivers side front has the smallest space, it seems to ride ok (rear might be a little stiff/bouncy) and the rear still seems to lower and raise. From previous findings usually the entire rear is raised or lowered if a sensor goes bad not just one side. The axle geometry in comparison to the body looks off too when looking at the raised/lowered sides. Does this seem like a bad sensor or am I looking at something broken/collapsed up front that is causing the lean?

Feel free to ask questions if this is confusing.

Plugged air line so only one bag is getting filled? Crawl underneath and see if the high side is firmer than the low side. I'm new to the GX so I'm just getting familiar with it myself.

I replied to you on CL too. But no, that's not true.

So if you had a faulty sensor the good one would still raise that side to the correct ride height and therefore would make the rear uneven if the other side is in the low position. But like I said check the sensor to make sure because it could be another problem all together.

What is the correct procedure to check the sensors for failure? It it something I overlooked in that other thread?

I wouldn't think it would be a plugged air line? both sides still seem raise/lower the one side is just always higher.

Thanks RC for the info!

Last ignorant question for me, will the current suspension geometry in relation to the body affect getting an alignment? The current tires are worn and feathered wear wise and I am looking to get a new set as well as an alignment shortly, once I get the rear end leveled out too will I need to get the truck aligned again due to the body being level will the rear suspension, even though it is a solid rear axle? I hope that makes sense.

Being a little off from side to side in the rear shouldn't affect the front.

Also since our rear isn't adjustable don't waste money on a 4 wheel alignment just get a 2 wheel done.
