Getting better with weatherstrip installation. I actually used painters tape to reduce the amount of mess not covered up by the weatherstrip and it turned out nicely. Fit is of course very @Racer65 esque... perfect! Couple little tweaks possibly but not necessary now need to do a water test.

What did you do for the seal between the 1/4 window glass and the steel frame it sits in?

Black tape-like stuff in the image below. The pic is from @ClemsonCruiser fj45 build in the 45 owners section.

I asked him what he used yesterday and I'm sure he will respond soon.

JP responded that what he used was some generic rubber sheets that he cut into strips. Either 1/16" or 1/32" thick. I ordered a roll in each from amazon:

1/16" - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076MCC73B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Since we are talking about unobtainium.... the touch up paint cans. Does someone, or is it possible to reproduce that can?? They seem to be rarer then hens teeth, but seem so simple. I don’t mean a full can of paint, just the can.

Metric TLC was doing can repros, not sure if anyone picked them up after Shane?

Shane's cans were pretty close. Visible difference when right next to an original but on their own they looked good.

It looks like cruiserparts.net may have picked up some of his decals and labels. Maybe they have them?

Did someone say originals?:)
