Alright guys, I’ve been having this weird sound underneath the car every now and then when I’m going slow. I thought it might be a buried join issue but it doesn’t always happen when I turn the wheels sharply and there’s no leaks by the wheels. It also happens sometimes when I drive straight too. Then I thought maybe since my transmission fluid levels were low (since I could use a new pan), I thought maybe that was causing some issues.

However! I think I may have found the issue. Please help me identify this part from the photo attached. I’m hoping this is the issue as it seems like a simple part replacement.

Let me know in the comments what you all think!

Do you realize the sum total of information you provided us to help diagnose a sound is "weird"? Nobody will be of any help connecting what you hear and that part, which is a sway bar end link bushing needing replacing. I'd replace the bushing, or perhaps the entire end link as it may be damaged. Cheap.

That part you are asking about is the rear sway bar end link. If you are replacing one might as well do both at the same time. There are aftermarket options but if you are looking to stay OEM you might be able to get them from your local dealership or for online I use partsouq.com and others have used amayama.

Hahah sorry I do realize I should have used a different word to describe the sound. It’s more like a clinking sound. It started recently and I can pinpoint where underneath the car it’s coming from as I haven’t made recent changes or fixes to anything.

Thank you for the help and recommendation!
