I remember about a decade ago I saw a 80 series cruiser on top of some portal axles from and unimog. Never saw it in action but remembered ewhhing and ahhing over it with friends.

I picked up this 1975 416 at the beginning of the year. I was after an 8274 on markeplace and when I went to pick it up, the guy had multiple Unimogs and I knew I had to figure out how to own one. A few months after. Done and done.
Braking system took a few months and dollars to sort out. I built a simple bed because it didn’t have one when I purchased it. Hope to take it to windrock very soon.
