Just looking at a picture, it looks like it'd fit in a radio (DIN) slot. So, if your OEM deck craps out, you could replace it with a single DIN deck and put the CB below it.

Pound, based on the info above, the 538 is a one DIN sized unit. The 510 is narrower and shallower. Therefore the 538 will not fit in the ashtray opening, but would fit in the dash if you replaced the factory deck with an aftermarket single din unit.

I have the 510xl in my ash tray slot and will safely say there is NO way the 538W will fit in the same location.
