Hey gang, just trying to collect your opinions/advice please.
I'm tired of removing under body protection every time I change engine oil. Is there one out there you recommend with OE front bumper?

What do you have now?

Budbuilt skids have oil change specific piece separate from the skid that I used to just leave off. It's like a little door the specific size of the reservoir. And I think they have the best skids in the business.

I have looked into them. Are you connected in OE bumper?

I don't think there is any that actually connects to the plastic bumper like OEM. All that I saw have a gap. I may be wrong and there is one.

Maybe look into Fumoto or other similar systems to help you out and keep your existing skids and save a lot of money. All skids are expensive.

I have OE and don’t off-road a ton but tows a lot.

Stock skids come off very easily with the right tool.. I have a 3/8" battery impact gun and can get the two needed for an oil change in less than a minute.

Most of the aftermarket options are going to be very expensive to solve this problem, and your access to the filter and pan drain will be through small hatches that do technically allow access but limit it a lot, compared to stock with the shields just gone. This tends to increase spillage onto the top of the plate.

The E&E skid system has an extra plate that fills the gap to a stock bumper.

This is one of the reasons I just ordered myself a set of E&E skids for my 2015 LX. That, and the ridiculous engineering and feather-like weight.
Nice, will go great with your sexy modified LX.

I grease the prop shaft every time I do an oil change so I don’t quite understand the benefit of the access ports. I take everything off😄

Waited way to long to get the electric ratchet wrench. Spreading miles between several cruisers and a 4runner the game changer was a paint pen to point me in the right direction. :p

Access panels provide plenty of room for oil changes with my skids. Recommend a fumoto valve for the oil pan and @bjowett oil filter housing. This set up makes oil changes clean and easy.

Next best option might be an oem toyota aluminum oil filter housing with a Motivx tools drain adapter.
