One year only part correct for late 64 & 65 models with factory heaters and in excellent condition. Just a slight superficial surface oxidation inside. This part can also be used on later models until 71 for the cool factor. Listed part is for “LHD” models and came off a FJ45 from Colorado.

Ultra rare ?
If you have a RHD here in the US it would be an ultra rare vent to find. Believe Toyota changed this after one year so they could make only one piece and spot weld the blank off section on either side to make RHD or LHD. It's a rare part that will work on 65-71 RHD 40 series with a factory heater. Have a couple LHD versions. Ran one on my 68 FJ40 for a while.

Your right Archie. Didn't catch the vent was sideways in the first photo. That would be correction orientation RHD. You probably had this a long time. How long has it been since moved out of US. Was it California to Victoria, Australia?

Thanks, I will try to take another picture with correct orientation and edit the photos. It’s all good here, it was California to New Zealand however we are on the move again and this time it is Victoria, Australia 😁

I think living in the past made it apparent that this is for a right-hand drive. Thanks for the info as always.

And later he also acknowledged that it’s for LHD, I too cleared-it up in the listing couple of times. Even though I moved to New Zealand years ago, I have got nothing to do with RHD cruisers yet 😀.
