Damn i'd love to.... but halloween party at the house beckons me :grinpimp:

You should see the grave yard we built around the house and the tons of stuff in the house also :p

I grew up with Ric Flairs kid and when he was trying to make it as a wrestler his roommate in Ohio Valley Wrestling was Brock Lesnar... I went up and visited and they visited me down here in charlotte a couple times and that dude is one of the biggest dudes i have ever seen in person... he is also as much of a meat head as he looks, prob even moreso and now that he has trained experience its going to take a pretty special person to beat him. To give you an idea, his hands were so big they had to have 4xl fighting gloves made for him. Dont want to get punched with one of those sandbags

They just haven't put him up against the right guy. Huge muscled guys like that rarely do that well in fighting because their muscles need so much oxygen. That is basically why Mark Kerr would sometimes get light headed when he fought.

I'm waiting for the fedor/lesnar fight if they ever decide to do it.

I'm guessing it will never happen...too many politics. Though now that he lost, maybe?

I would settle for Barnett/Lesnar :D

That would be cool....... Vera/Lesnar, Noguera/Lesnar,

I would have loved to see him and Kerr square off or even him and Bob Sapp for the freak show factor.

Him and a Cro-cop from 5 years ago would be good also.

He was the NCAA Heavy weight champion wrestler so the cardio i dont think is a problem. I do agree that they can prob get him some better fights though. If/when he loses again it will be like he lost the first time...it def wont be cause he got out wrestled i guarantee that

Now that would be a dream fight.....my money would go to Cro-cop....a more rounded fighter IMHO

Cardio will always be a problem in the octagon for heavily muscled fighters, same thing with fat fighters (but for a different reason) more muscles means more oxygen needed for those cells.

Just look at the history of the UFC or Pride, or Vale Tudo, anytime there has been a beast like lesnar if they don't totally dominate whoever they are fighting what normally happens is they start to run out of gas.

The most classic example would be Mark Coleman and Pete Williams.
Coleman had used his huge size and wrestling ability to dominate people in the UFC. Williams managed to push him for 12 minutes straight and he basically was so tired he couldn't block any punches or the viscious kick that ended it all.
Happens every time.

Now there isn't currently anyone in the UFC heavyweight division that can beat lesnar but the whole heavyweight division in MMA has become kind of slim since the collapse of Pride.

Getting it at my house in burlington too, if anyone is close.

Havin a party starting at two... Welcome to stop by.

I agree but feel that Velasquez is legit. Brock has to cut ~20lbs to make 265, Cain walks around 235. Cutting weight, even when done "right" takes some out of you.

Should be good but won't match the debauchery and enjoyment of your party...

Yes but you forget they are almost always back up to there walking around weight by fight night. That's how tim silvia always did it. Cut weight for weigh in and walked aroudn at 285 by fight night.

No, you assume I forget. What I'm suggesting is that one fighter is stressing their body out to drop "x" amount of weight and regain as much back as they can in the 24 hours or so before the fight. All the while, the other fighter is feeding and hydrating their body.

I know it's grasping at straws...I like both fighters, predict Lesner to retain his belt. But, it's MMA, crazy things can happen...

wow! didnt see Lesnar losing...let alone getting rocked like that! I stand corrected on his dominance....
