There is a '74 FJ40 at the new U-Pick-It, 435 & Winner Rd. Pretty rough. Has a home made hard top and home made winch. Has F engine with original carb/cleaner. 3 speed on the floor, bucket seats and original wheels. Rear jump seats kind of rusted. I took the washer bottle, am radio and steering wheel and some misc. piece parts for $20.. my dad took the perfect front bumper and bib for about $20... so parts are pretty reasonable.

Also, there is I think an '87 mini truck with the 22RTE there. Turbo tranny, belhousing, and rearend were missing when i arrived but the turbo intake manifold, intake tubes, and computer are still there.. head is missing along with exhaust manifold and turbo.

hmmm...I might make it over there this weekend. I need to find me a rear seat...and should probably pick up a MAF if it is still on the turbo truck.

Thanks for the heads up...missed you guys at F&N this year.

The two 4runners had grey interior and they seats looked real nice on one of them. As for the MAf, I don't remember seeing one. I guess my dad would have went to FN cause he just found out this weekend that is was happening. As for me I had 3 shows this last weekend. Maybe next year for sure!

Randy, your pm's are full...

You get off of 435 onto 24 hwy and head west. Go under the hwy and I believe it is the next stop light. It's on the northwest corner of that intersection. It has a lot of cars inside the building and some outside. There are some railway lines around there and I can't remember if you cross them or not to get there. Hope you find it!

Randy --

Was the engine still on the FJ?

Thanks,

Kelly

did it still have the headlight bezel??

I was there this past weekend and it was still there... engine is still there untouched.. carb, manifolds, air cleaner, radiator, everything. It's the later F with the better oiling and oil cap on the steel valve cover. Front bezel is gone. Homemade hardtop still there though.
